達人心法－工作之餘用力玩 視野更寬廣

工作之餘，劉恆元說，她可是奉行「用力的玩，努力的玩」的人。
玩，她說，是遊山玩水的那種玩，尤其是到海外旅遊，玩的同時還能增廣見聞。
用力且努力玩的劉恆元，也在玩的過程中體悟到，如果能用更為寬廣態度看世界，更能豐富生命。
特別是，這幾年她與年輕同事們相處時，發現不少年輕同事總是「自我設限」：不會或不願延伸工作領域，只願意進行自己負責的工作範疇。
劉恆元常常因為工作需要，會調度及調派不同部門的同仁協助需緊急處理的工作時，就會有年輕一輩的同仁立即表明：「這不是當初談好的工作內容」。
對年輕同仁的態度，她不能說不對，但是，有時反而會限縮了成長與學習的機會。就她的經驗，她就是從工作中獲得學習的機會，不同工作領域可以帶來不同的學習與成長。
劉恆元也因此希望，年輕人在職場上能夠用更寬廣的態度看事情，不要自我設限，多給自己創造得到學習的機會與空間。
她知道，現在的年輕人多強調「權益」，然而，就她在職場多年的經驗，權益固然重要，但不應陷在「權益」裡，進而自我設限，很多事情，當下看似對己有利的，長遠看，未必真的就是利，反之亦然。
